Hello there, I’m Amanda and I am originally from Brisbane Australia but I have been living in the UK since 1994. I have worked in retail for a number of years, I’ve been a horse-riding guide in Portugal and a PA in London. I now live in the beautiful market town of Leek in Staffordshire with my partner and 2 boys. I love machine knitting, anything to do with wool, early mornings, a good cup of coffee and sunflowers.

I have always had a passion for drawing and hand lettering and hoped one day I could create a business utilising these skills.
​
My business began when I created some chalkboard designs for a friend’s wedding. The boards drew lots of attention and I was soon asked to create personalised chalkboards for a variety of weddings, restaurants, shops and hotels. This encouraged me to launch my own business ‘Just Add Chalk’, after years of enjoying artistic pursuits purely for pleasure.

Terms and Conditions

Weddings
I always like to arrange a chat over the phone to talk about your ideas and what you envisage for your wedding day.
Once we have confirmed your date and description of signage required, I will email you a written quote and once approved I will send you a 50% deposit invoice. Your booking date is secured once payment is received. The remaining 50% is required upon collection or delivery agreed by both parties.
Digital mock up designs will be provided of all signage for your approval, once agreed Just Add Chalk does not hold any responsibility for any errors once you have approved the mock up designs.
All seating plans must be provided on an excel document.
All signage will be ready 2 weeks before the wedding date or contact me if you require another date.
Your booking and contact details will be treated with complete confidence and not be supplied to any third parties.
Windows
If you would like to order window art, I will require a front on photo of your window. I will also need the measurements of your window and a brief description of your idea for the design. I will email you a written quote and once approved I will send you a 50% deposit invoice. Your booking date is secured once payment is received. I will then digitally design your window and send you mock ups for your approval. Once we have agreed a date and time of booking, I will require the remaining 50% payment to be paid on the day of completion.
Chalkboards and Hand Lettering
Any chalkboards or items for hand lettering will have a written quote provided and once agreed a deposit invoice will be sent out to you. Your booking date is secured once payment is received and I will create the designs and a digital mock up will be sent to you for approval. Once the items are completed a balance invoice will be sent out and once payment is received, we can arrange delivery or collection.
Just Add Chalk’s artwork is not to be reproduced, copied or edited in any way by you or third party without our prior permission. You agree to give permission to arrange photographs / video footage of our work to be used on my website, marketing and social media platforms.
